 HLTWHS005 - Conduct manual tasks safely

About this course 

Students completing this course will gain the skills and knowledge required to recognise potentially hazardous manual tasks and then to prepare for and complete those tasks in a safe manner.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to recognise potentially hazardous manual tasks, and then to prepare for and complete those tasks in a safe manner.

This unit applies to all workers involved in manual handling tasks.

 

Course duration (Standard)

Face to Face minimum duration is 1 hour.

Assessment requirements​

Assessment activities will include a knowledge test and practical assessments. Scenarios will be conducted in a simulated environment and will include preparing for and completing a manual task and the completion of survey forms and risk assessment forms.
